Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
Hands-on development of user-focused immersive, responsive web applications; advocating for clean code, testing, process refinements, and continuous improvements across GD Brands
Work on all aspects of web products, including implementation of the design wireframes, animation/motion, business logic, client journeys and service pathways interfaces to the backend APIs, incorporating analytics & SEO, performance and security
Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail
Optimize user interfaces for performance, scalability, and accessibility, ensuring a seamless user experience across devices and screen sizes
Define, validate, implement, and test your approach to building scalable and high performing software
Apply coding best practices in responsive web design
Collaborate with our business teams to identify and implement innovative technology solutions that enhance customer experiences and drive conversion
Develop, and maintain reusable web software components/libraries for internal use to maximize development efficiency
Essential Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of hands-on experience building web applications through headless CMS
Good communication skills and stakeholder management, needs to be comfortable liaising with different teams in the business.
Proven record of building large frontend applications with focus on scalability, performance and accessibility (WCAG AA+ standards)
Advanced knowledge of contemporary web and digital development standards and languages in with, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, PHP etc.
