Job Description

This role sits with our Marketing team which forms part of the Fundraising, Marketing and Comms Unit and will report to the MarTech Systems Manager

The purpose of this position is to manage, analyse, and report on campaign-specific data and to fundamentally own data integrity, data imports, reporting outputs and campaign-level performance analysis. The coordinator will further be responsible for cleaning data, discovering trends, issues and insights from the campaign data and supporting campaign optimisation through delivery and reporting. The position is essentially administration, reconciliation and compilation of data for various stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities 

National Campaigns NSW/ACT - Job holder is successful when:

  • Data is successfully extracted, organised and sent for events and mailings related to the national campaigns.
  • Data regarding national campaigns is successfully imported in Salesforce and other MarTech systems.
  • Campaign data is managed for all campaigns in conjunction with the Fundraising and Marketing Team for the purposes of fulfillment, data integrity, analysis and reporting in accordance with the campaigns calendar.

Local Campaigns NSW/ACT - Job holder is successful when:

  • Data is successfully extracted, organised and sent for events and mailings related to local campaigns.
  • Data regarding local campaigns is successfully imported in Salesforce and other MarTech systems.
  • Campaign data briefs are developed and prepared in conjunction with the Fundraising Team.
  • Relevant data is captured for all campaign activities for the purposes of fulfillment, data capture, analysis and reporting

Data Analysis & Reporting-  Job holder is successful when:

  • Data is accurately extracted, organised and sent for events and mailings for the Gifts in Wills team on a regular basis.
  • Accurate, timely, and insightful campaign-specific reports are developed using Excel and PowerBI.
  • Dashboards and visualisations are created to monitor campaign performance and supporter engagement.
  • Post-campaign and monthly reports are compiled and delivered as required.

Data Management & Integrity - Job holder is successful when:

  • Campaign data is successfully imported in Salesforce and other MarTech systems.
  • Campaign data within Salesforce CRM is maintained with high accuracy and consistency.
  • Data management procedures are implemented to maximise integrity.
  • Data queries are used effectively for data extraction and transformation

Technical & Analytical Responsibilities - Job holder is successful when: 

  • Completion of end-to-end data imports in Salesforce on a regular basis
  • Advanced Excel skills are applied for complex campaign data cleaning, transformation and manipulation.
  • Flagging data inaccuracies and inconsistencies within the MarTech ecosystem and recommending remediated solutions for them.

Essential knowledge and experience:

  • Minimum Diploma qualification in IT, Business, or related field.
  • Proficient in Salesforce CRM.
  • 2+ years of experience in data reporting or analytics roles
  • Experience with PowerBI for data visualisation
  • Good attention to detail, both in terms of data integrity and reporting
  • Highly organised, flexible and able to prioritise tasks and use own initiative
  • Positive attitude and desire to exceed expectations
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Presence in the St Leonards office 3 days (or more) per week (unless events that week)
  • Able to manage the physical demands and inherent requirements of the job

Desirable: 

  • Experience in fundraising or non-profit sector
  • Ability to improve and streamline data accuracy and consistency processes
  • Basic proficiency in Python for data cleaning and transformation
  • Proficiency in SQL
