Job Description

Key accountabilities:

  • Leading the design, delivery and maintenance of the business intelligence function to support organisational priorities.
  • Develop, Implement and maintain a suite of reports and KPI dashboards
  • Provide high level conceptual expertise and maintain, define and promote best practices, process and principles for data warehousing, reporting and analytics.
  • Present key findings of analysis to ELT to support different areas of the business
  • Deliver analytics & reporting to meet marketing and product needs
  • Work with internal stakeholders and third parties to develop, maintain and improve a customer reporting suite
  • Ensures the scope of the business intelligence and analytics initiatives are aligned with business priorities.
  • Monitoring, tracking and reporting functional performance and the realisation of defined business benefits.

Key knowledge & experience:

  • Qualifications in business, finance, management, information systems or equivalent or extensive relevant experience
  • Demonstrated strategic focus with capacity to shape and drive vision and ability to assume responsibility and accountability for advancing business intelligence objectives.
  • Strong experience working within data management and leveraging data and insights to identity opportunities to lift organisational performance, improve client outcomes and increase revenue.
  • Extensive experience and comprehensive working knowledge of business intelligence and data warehouse environments including reporting and analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience with data applications, solutions, and tools such as Power BI, SQL Server  
  • Demonstrated experience in all applicable data privacy laws and regulations. 
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and liaison skills, and well-developed ability to engage and negotiate with internal stakeholders.

Also Desirable:

  • Experience in a medium sized company operating in the NFP sector with a focus on fundraising, human services and disability services.
